ABC Food Law Ltd is offering an exciting opportunity to join Shropshire Council’s Health Protection Team as a Regulatory Support Officer Apprentice. In this role, you will undertake a Level 4 apprenticeship in Regulatory Compliance while gaining hands-on experience in food hygiene and food standards.

This position provides the chance to work under experienced officers, supporting projects, inspections, and compliance activities. You will contribute to improving public health, business compliance, and community wellbeing.

Job description

An exciting opportunity has arisen to join Shropshire Council’s Health Protection Team as a Regulatory Support Officer Apprentice.

This role will give you the opportunity to complete a Level 4 Regulatory Compliance Officer apprenticeship while gaining practical experience in food hygiene, food standards and wider regulatory work that helps protect residents, support businesses and promote safe, fair trading across Shropshire.

Working under the direction and supervision of a close team experienced officers, you will support regulatory projects, inspections, investigations, sampling, complaints, data analysis and customer enquiries. You will help maintain accurate records, support innovative compliance activity in food premises and contribute to work that improves public health, business compliance and community wellbeing.
