Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Limited offers a structured apprenticeship pathway to become a qualified Quantity Surveyor. You will gain practical experience across contract management, cost control, and payments while working with experienced professionals on real projects.

You will study part-time with a recognised provider, linking learning directly to your role and developing communication, problem-solving and teamwork skills.

Qualifications

• GCSEs (5 including Maths, English & Science) and UCAS points 112+ are required.
• Full UK driving licence.
• British citizenship or UK settled status.
• Structured learning with part-time study linked to role.

Responsibilities

• Assist in contract negotiations and terms with internal/external advisors.
• Support financial oversight, revenue, costs, and cash collection.
• Support procurement and subcontractor engagement processes.
• Monitor payments and prepare subcontractor certificates and reports.
• Develop HSE awareness and practice across projects.
• Attend apprenticeship training and participate in final assessments and site visits.
