Job summary

The Priory Witham Academy is seeking two Apprentice Pupil Support Assistants to join our Primary team. You will work in a high-quality environment with an experienced team of teachers and pupil support staff, enabling pupils to achieve their best outcomes.

You will undertake high-quality tuition training with The Priory Trust Training and aim to complete a Level 3 Teaching Assistant NVQ, with a genuine interest in a career in Teaching Support.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade A*-C or equivalent.
• Interest in a career in Teaching Support and willingness to complete Level 3 NVQ.
• Excellent organisational skills and ability to work with others.
• Willingness to learn and undertake high-quality tuition training.

Responsibilities

• Work as Apprentice Pupil Support Assistant within the Primary team to support pupils.
• Collaborate with teachers and pupil support staff to enable pupils to achieve the best outcomes.
• Contribute to high standards and development of provision and practice within the academy.

The successful applicant will work in our academy and have anallowance to undertake high-quality tuition and practical training with ThePriory Trust Training, to complete a Level 3 Teaching Assistant NVQ. We arelooking for a candidate with a genuine interest in a career in TeachingSupport. The applicant will haveachieved grade A*-C in both GCSE English and Maths or a willingness andcompetency to complete the equivalent in functional skills as part of theapprenticeship agreement.
