Job summary

Restoration and Renewal is offering an Associate Project Manager Apprentice position on the Lords Temporary Accommodation (LTA) Project Team as part of the Houses of Parliament Restoration & Renewal Programme. This role is designed to develop hands-on project management skills in a high-profile, public-sector setting while you study towards a recognised qualification.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship position; funding rules prevent repeating learning at a higher level.
• Fixed-term role lasting 16 months.
• One day per week studying remotely for the apprenticeship course.
• No prior project management qualification required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Assist day-to-day project management activities and project administration.
• Coordinate meetings, workshops and stakeholder engagement.
• Support project reporting, governance and decision-making processes.
• Maintain project schedules, risk registers and action trackers.
• Assist with budget monitoring and project controls activities.
• Support planning applications and design development activities.
• Coordinate site surveys, inspections and access arrangements.
• Build positive working relationships with colleagues, consultants and contractors.
