Company: Houses of Parliament Restoral and Renewal Programme
An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a Quantity Surveyor Apprentice to join our Lords Temporary Accommodation (LTA) Project Team on the Houses of Parliament Restoration & Renewal (R&R) Programme — the largest and most complex renovation of a UNESCO World Heritage building ever undertaken. This once-in-a-lifetime project will undertake the provision of temporary accommodation for the House of Lords to enable the Lords decant whilst the restoration work is being carried out.
This role offers a unique and exciting environment in which to begin a career in Quantity Surveying and is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience working on a complex, high-profile project while studying towards a recognised Quantity Surveying qualification.
As a Quantity Surveyor Apprentice, you'll work alongside experienced commercial and project professionals. You'll play an important role in helping manage costs, support procurement activities and contracts, together with financial reporting and commercial governance as the project progresses through design and delivery stages.
