Amentum invites applications for its People & Capability Support apprenticeship, aligning with the Organization & People team to deliver resourcing, recruitment, talent management and culture initiatives. The role emphasizes coordination, data handling and process implementation across the employee lifecycle.
You will support onboarding, maintain recruitment data, and assist with performance and development activities, while embracing a hybrid working pattern and CPD opportunities.
The People & Capability Support role provides practical, day-to-day support to the Organization & People team, enabling the effective delivery of resourcing & recruitment, talent management, and culture & engagement activities. Reporting to the Head of Organisation & People, the role focuses on coordination, data, and implementation support across the employee lifecycle, helping ensure people initiatives are delivered consistently, efficiently, and to a high standard.
People Operations Support - Understanding of basic people processes across the employee lifecycle.
Coordination & Application - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Data & Systems - Ability to maintain accurate records and work confidently with HR systems and spreadsheets.
Collaboration & Communication - Ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders and within a team.
Continuous Improvement Mindset - Willingness to identify issues and suggest improvements.

You must have the permanent right to work in the UK
In addition to having the permanent right to work in the UK, you are also required to have been ordinarily resident in the UK, the British Overseas Territories, or Crown Dependencies (Channel Islands and Isle of Man) for at least the previous three years before the start and for the duration of the apprenticeship.

The duration of this apprenticeship will be: 22 months
