Job summary

Group 1 Automotive in Guildford is recruiting an Apprentice Parts Advisor. You will support stock management, customer service, order preparation, and logistics while training towards a Level 2 Retail Apprenticeship.

The role blends front-desk customer service with behind-the-scenes stock control. We offer extensive benefits and a structured training programme designed to develop skills, knowledge, and industry certifications within 15-17 months.

Qualifications

• GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science.
• Punctual and timekeeping are essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure and communicate effectively.
• Drive to exceed targets and contribute to team success.

Responsibilities

• Building and maintaining relationships with internal and external customers both in person and over the phone.
• Developing relationships with other departments.
• Preparing orders.
• Stock Control/ Management.
• Processing Warranty Claims and Payments.
• Identifying Parts.
• Marketing and Visual Merchandising.
• Managing logistics including organising and arranging deliveries.
