Job summary

Group 1 Automotive is hiring an Apprentice Parts Advisor at JLR Guildford. You’ll learn stock management, merchandising, and customer service while earning and gaining qualifications.

You’ll start with a Level 2 Retailer Apprenticeship, with hands-on training in deliveries, front-desk service, and logistics. The role blends shop floor and back-room duties within a busy Parts Department.

Qualifications

• Punctual and timekeeping essential.
• Ability to work well under pressure in a busy workshop environment.
• Great team player with clear communication skills.
• Drive to exceed targets and deliver great customer experiences.
• GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths, English and Science required.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers in person and on the phone.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth service.
• Prepare orders and manage stock and merchandising in the parts area.
• Handle warranty claims and payments.
• Identify parts and support logistics including deliveries.
• Support marketing and visual merchandising in-store.
