Job summary

Realise Training is recruiting for an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner at Tiny Teapots in Harrogate. This apprenticeship offers on-the-job training toward the Level 2 Early Years Practitioner standard, with 20% off-the-job learning incorporated into the working day.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English grade 3 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills alongside the apprenticeship.
• Some experience working with babies or children under the age of five is desirable
• Good at working in a team
• Articulate and friendly

Responsibilities

• Assisting qualified practitioners with daily routines and planned activities.
• Maintain and observe children’s records under supervision.
• Contribute to safeguarding and health, safety and cleanliness of the environment.
• Help plan and deliver age-appropriate activities in line with EYFS guidance.
• Support staff with a positive and engaging learning environment.
