Job summary

Partou in Leeds offers an apprenticeship to train as an Early Years Practitioner, letting you earn while you learn in a supportive environment. You'll observe experienced staff, take on responsibilities such as planning and maintaining children’s records, and learn safeguarding policies.

With 30 hours per week and an on-site role, you’ll be mentored by qualified staff, build relationships with children, parents and colleagues, and help plan activities aligned with EYFS.

Qualifications

• GCSE Maths/English grade 3 or equivalent, or willingness to work towards the required level of functional skills.
• Some experience working with babies or children under five is desirable.
• Aptitude for teamwork and learning in a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan and maintain children's records.
• Develop and follow safeguarding policies.
• Assist with health, safety and overall wellbeing of children.
• Help plan and deliver activities in line with EYFS.
