Job summary

Grosvenor invites applications for a project management apprenticeship in London. You will rotate between Major Works, Energy Saving Fund, and SMDP teams to support delivery, planning and reporting on small to medium projects within the London Estate.

Qualifications

• Genuine interest in a career in Project Management.
• Experience of working and collaborating as part of a team.
• Experience of problem solving and applying logic.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Good IT skills, with some experience of Excel.

Responsibilities

• Learn and assist with the preparation of detailed specifications for construction work and contract documents.
• Learn the benefits and techniques of assessing tender submissions and undertake tender analysis.
• Develop an understanding of how to prepare project accounts and financial management and undertake the preparation of accounts for small and medium projects.
• Learn how to undertake basic surveys of properties and understand the benefit of running a 10-year Planned Preventative Maintenance schedule.
• Understand and work within health and safety requirements and statutory fire requirements when running projects.
• Work with project management teams to support and carry out ad hoc surveys, project performance, financial, and portfolio reports.
• Support the delivery of the Major Works, ESF, and SMDP project portfolios.
• Learn how to establish client briefs, appoint and manage consultants and contractors, coordinate design development, obtain planning and/or listed building consent, manage projects through the RIBA Stages, including procurement, and support projects through the Grosvenor Gateway Approval Process.
• Learn above the relevant statutory requirements for construction and facilities management projects when relevant and how to apply them to projects.
• Assist in monitoring onsite fabric, maintenance & electrical projects and liaising with suppliers and tenants.
• Learn about risk, programme, and cost management across a range of projects
