Job summary

TRUNET (UK) LIMITED in Ashby-de-la-Zouch is offering an Engineering Operative Level 2 apprenticeship within the maintenance team. You will learn by performing basic maintenance on bespoke knitting and covering machinery while supporting QA documentation and workshop housekeeping.

The program runs for around 1 year 6 months, with structured training provided by LOUGHBOROUGH COLLEGE and a fixed working week from 08:00 to 16:00, Monday to Friday, culminating in Level 2 certification.

Qualifications

Essential GCSE English at grade 2/E.

Responsibilities

To carry out basic maintenance tasks on bespoke machinery in the knitting and covering departments
To follow company processes to carry out machinery order changeovers
To develop the ability to check if machines are running correctly against product specifications
To carry out basic machinery maintenance checks
To support with maintenance QA documentation
To keep the maintenance workshop clean and tidy
To carry out manual handling duties including lifting, lowering and bending
