Job summary
ITM Power in Sheffield is seeking an Apprentice IT Support Engineer to join the IT team and develop skills for a career in IT support. You will learn to diagnose and resolve IT issues, support business systems and devices, and deliver excellent customer service to users across manufacturing and office locations in Sheffield and Europe.
Working with experienced IT professionals and external providers, you will gain practical experience and complete apprenticeship training, studying for a Level 3
Qualifications
- GCSE English and Maths at grade 4/C or above.
- Basic understanding of computer systems, laptops and common software.
- Familiarity with Microsoft 365 apps (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
- Experience using Windows operating systems in any setting.
- Team player with strong customer service and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day IT support to colleagues across Sheffield and Europe.
- Diagnose and resolve IT issues; support business systems and devices.
- Collaborate with external IT service providers and MSPs.
- Assist with onboarding, asset records and room setup.
