Job summary

Skills for Security is offering an apprenticeship role in Peterhead to learn installation, maintenance and fault‑finding of video surveillance, intruder alarms and fire alarms. You will work alongside experienced engineers and progress through a Level 3 Fire, Emergency & Security Systems Technician apprenticeship.

You’ll train hands-on, attend the Glasgow training centre one week every eight weeks, and build real skills toward a recognised qualification while earning and developing in a growing

Qualifications

• Full, clean UK driving license strongly preferred; local Peterhead applicants considered if they can't drive.
• Interest in progressing within the fire and security industry.
• Good team player willing to be mentored by established engineers.
• Punctual and hard working.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to attend Glasgow training centre one week every eight weeks for face to face training.
