Job summary
Total People is recruiting for a hands-on Maintenance Engineer in the Trafford area. You will collaborate with our engineering team to keep food-grade production machinery running and support exciting cross-business projects.
No two days will be the same, with a mix of preventive maintenance and reactive fault-finding. Expect to work on mechanical, electrical and automation tasks, including programming, motors & drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, and diagnostics.
Qualifications
- Maintains and installs food-grade machinery.
- Troubleshoots electrical systems and fault-finding.
- Supports Engineering Manager with maintenance tasks.
- Assists with design, procurement and stock control.
- Supports projects from concept to completion.
- Hands-on experience with programming, motors and drives.
Responsibilities
