Job summary

N Family Day Nursery Guildford is seeking an Apprentice Nursery Practitioner to join their Outstanding setting. You will rotate through nursery rooms, learn on-the-job, and complete an Early Years Practitioner (Level 2) apprenticeship, with a path to a qualified educator role.

The role is full-time (40 hours per week) with learning time and a supportive team environment. You’ll benefit from apprenticeship funding, development opportunities via the N Academy, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• GCSE English and Maths at grade C/4-8 are required.
• Commitment to learning in the early years sector.
• Teamwork and positive attitude are essential.

Responsibilities

• Rotate around nursery rooms to gain hands-on experience.
• Support delivery of basic childcare routines.
• Deliver the nursery's learning-through-play ethos and activities.
• Build strong relationships with parents and guardians.
• Support safeguarding procedures and adapt to a flexible shift pattern (7:00–19:00).
