You will support daily care and learning while developing your skills through an Early Years Educator apprenticeship. Reporting to the Room Leader, you will work alongside experienced colleagues, build relationships with children and parents, follow nursery routines, and take an active role in your own learning and professional development throughout the

Qualifications

• Enrolled on, or willing to undertake, an Early Years Educator Level 2 or Level 3 Apprenticeship.
• Genuine passion for working with young children and supporting their development.
• Willingness to learn from experienced childcare professionals.
• Able to communicate effectively with children, parents and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Supporting the day-to-day care, learning and development of young children.
• Assisting with planned indoor and outdoor activities that encourage childrens development.
• Building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues.
• Helping children feel safe, secure and settled within the nursery environment.
• Encouraging childrens communication, play and social development.
• Following nursery routines, policies and procedures always.
• Attending team meetings and contributing to the smooth running of the nursery.
• Reporting accidents, incidents and potential hazards promptly.
• Looking after toys, equipment and learning resources, ensuring they are clean, safe and well maintained.
• Taking an active role in your own learning and professional development throughout your apprenticeship.
