Job summary

Oldham Council is offering an apprentice role to support the design, development and maintenance of digital services, including web content management, software development and system integration.

You will gain experience in programming, agile delivery and digital service design while working with Digital, IT and service teams, maintaining websites and tooling using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and backend technologies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and improve the Council’s websites and digital content using CMS.
• Support design, development, testing and deployment of digital and software solutions.
• Assist in developing web features and tools using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and backend technologies.
• Ensure digital services meet accessibility, usability and security standards.
• Work with colleagues to gather requirements and support service improvements.
