Job summary

Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust in Leeds is seeking an Apprentice Dental Nurse to join the Leeds Dental Institute on a full-time basis. The role includes an 18-month training programme with a salary of £25,272 per year and a rota across Beeston, Chapel Allerton, Bradford and Hull.

Successful applicants will work as part of the Dental Team, assisting Dentists in patient care and undertaking timetabled study sessions to gain a Level 3 Diploma in Dental Nursing.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years of age.
• Minimum of 4 GCSEs (grade C and above) with English Language; Maths essential.
• Science subject desirable.

Responsibilities

• Assist dentists in management and treatment of patients.
• Provide direct hands-on care to patients.
• Work as a team member within the Dental Team and attend timetabled study sessions.
