The role includes 1-2-1 teaching sessions and off-the-job training during paid working hours. The daily tasks include assisting dentists, maintaining a safe environment, setting up surgeries, sterilising equipment and updating patient records.

• Assisting the dentist in providing safe and effective treatments to patients, from simple check-ups to advanced specialist treatments
• Providing patients with a high level of care
• Setting up and cleaning surgery
• Sterilising instruments

• Preparing instruments and materials for various treatments
• Adhering to practice policies and procedures
