Lotus Home Care is seeking a Health & Social Care Apprentice to provide in-home support, learning on the job while working toward a Level 3 qualification. You will deliver person-centred care, contribute to care plans, and assist with medication where trained, while liaising with families and professionals.

This full-time paid role requires driving and access to a vehicle, and you will gain practical experience and a recognised qualification through ongoing training and assessments.

Qualifications

• Must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.
• Willing to train and study for a Level 3 qualification.
• DBS check required for the apprenticeship.

Apprentice Community Support Worker – Making a Difference at Home

Lotus Home Care are looking for caring and reliable people to support Clients in their own homes. This is a full-time paid role with training included, giving you the chance to gain a recognised Level 3 qualification while building a rewarding career in care.

As a Health & Social Care Apprentice, you will be trained to be responsible for (but not limited to) the following:

• Deliver high-quality, person-centred care tailored to individual needs
• Take an active role in creating and reviewing care plans
• You will support the new staff shadowing you
• Undergo training on our rota systems
• Administer or assist with medication (where trained and authorised)
• Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies
• Record, monitor, and report on health and well-being
• Support individuals with complex needs such as dementia, learning disabilities, or physical impairments
• Uphold safeguarding responsibilities, acting promptly to protect vulnerable individuals
• Attend training, workshops, and complete off-job learning for your apprenticeship

As a Level 3 apprentice, you will take on greater responsibility in providing and coordinating care. You will be working towards theLevel 3 Apprenticeship in Adult Care, preparing for senior roles such as Lead Care Worker or Supervisor.

Candidates must be able to drive and have access to a vehicle.

This is a successful business with a fantastic reputation that works to a tight schedule. They are looking for someone who can get there in a morning punctually (think about the location of the business and transport links), listen/learn and use their own initiative to quickly become a valued and productive team member.

Successful candidates will need a full DBS check.

About the Training

• The successful candidate will continue their studies with apprenticeship specialists
• RNN Group both remotely and from one of their campuses or on-site at work, giving you the training and support you need to become a well-rounded and successful Health & Social Care Professional
• On going training with Lotus home care including Oliver McGowan Tier 2
