Job summary

Stantec is offering a Degree Apprentice (Level 6) Civil Engineer position in Bristol starting in 2027. You will join a team of civil engineers, gaining hands-on experience on real projects across drainage, levels and external works while working toward a Level 6 degree with a training provider.

You will study via block or day release options at partner universities and spend four days a week in the office with colleagues, building technical knowledge and professional skills for a future

Qualifications

• Minimum UCAS points requirements and specific grade criteria for Exeter/UWE/Coventry entries.
• A Level: BBC with Mathematics at B or above and another analytical science at B or above.
• BTEC Diploma: DDM with Mathematics and Further Mathematics in Construction units.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of civil engineering designs from concept through to construction.
• Contribute to Buildings service offering within a multidisciplinary project team.
• Work with civil engineers, technicians and structural colleagues.
• Develop understanding of drainage and external works design.
