Job summary

Stantec is offering a Degree Apprentice (Level 6) Civil Engineer – Water in Brighton. You will learn while contributing to clean and wastewater projects in the South East, supported by specialists and a formal degree program.

You’ll work four days a week in the office and gain hands-on experience while studying for a Level 6 BEng Civil Engineering degree with a local training provider, including Coventry University or University of Brighton. Apply to start your engineering career with Stantec.

Qualifications

• You must have a minimum of 112 UCAS points or equivalent.
• Maths at grade B or above if taking A levels; one other analytical science subject at grade B or above.
• GCSEs: 5 GCSEs at 5-6 including Maths and English.

Responsibilities

• Support engineering activities from early feasibility through to construction.
• Help prepare calculations, analysis, drawings and other technical information.
• Learn how to use AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other industry software to help present design solutions for clients.
• Assist with reports, presentations, bids and proposals.
• Work with project teams and other disciplines to understand how civil engineering projects are planned and delivered.
• Attend meetings and workshops with clients and colleagues to build your understanding of project work.
