Job summary

Stantec in Manchester is offering a Level 6 Apprenticeship in Civil Engineering, combining work with study. You will gain hands-on project experience while developing drawings and models for civil infrastructure, supported by a structured development plan.

You will study with Coventry University or Leeds Beckett University, four days per week in the office and four days of training, to graduate with a Level 6 Civil Engineering degree.

Qualifications

• For Level 6 apprenticeship you must achieve 112 UCAS points from listed routes.
• A levels: BBC with Maths at B or above and one other analytical science subject.
• BTEC Level 3 Extended Diploma: DMM with Maths and Further Maths in Construction units.

Responsibilities

• Produce engineering drawings and figures to support projects and reports.
• Contribute to technical reports and engineering notes.
• Undertake elements of highway, utilities and drainage design.
• Support infrastructure projects through design and delivery stages.
• Work with engineers, technicians and other professionals in multidisciplinary teams.
• Develop technical knowledge through hands-on project experience.
