Job summary
Stantec is offering a Degree Apprentice (Level 6) Civil Engineer - Water in Bristol for 2027. You will join a 15-person civil engineering team and work on local and national water projects, while earning a Level 6BEng Civil Engineering degree with block or day release at partner universities.
The role blends office learning with real project experience across the South West. You’ll gain hands-on engineering exposure, learn from experienced colleagues, and integrate with CAD and hydraulic
Qualifications
- Minimum 112 UCAS points across specified routes.
- A-level: BBC with Math B or higher and another analytical science.
- BTEC Extended Diploma DMM incl Maths & Further Maths in relevant construction/engineering.
- UWE/Exeter/Coventry routes with listed DDM/ABB equivalents.
- GCSEs: 5 GCSEs with 5-6 in Maths and English (or Functional Skills).
Responsibilities
- Support civil design team in developing client solutions.
- Assist with calculations, reports, design sketches and presentations.
- Learn project progression from early ideas to detailed design and construction.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, structural, hydraulic modelling and CAD teams.
