The Grove Lock in Leighton Buzzard is offering a Commis Chef Apprenticeship that blends paid training with college study. You’ll spend four days a week in one of our kitchens and one day at college, mentored by experienced Head Chefs, to build a strong foundation in cooking with fresh, seasonal produce.

Join a supportive team, gain hands-on experience in a busy kitchen, and work toward professional qualifications while earning and learning.

Qualifications

• A Commis Chef Apprenticeship is ideal for school leavers, career changers, or anyone looking to get the best start to a chef career.
• You’ll receive training in all aspects of food preparation whilst gaining an insight into some of the liveliest kitchens across the South of England.
• Working in a Fuller’s Kitchen is exciting and challenging, but with a full team to support and mentor you, you’ll develop a rich understanding of food and a passion for our fresh, seasonal and local produce.
• You will study 1 day per week at one of our college partners and receive world-class training while being paid.
• When you're not at college you will work 4 days a week in one of our selected restaurants or hotels while being mentored by one of our Head Chefs.
