Job summary

N Family Club in London nurseries is seeking an Apprentice Chef to learn and grow in a fast‑paced nursery kitchen. You’ll cook fresh, nutritious meals from 7am to 4pm, Monday to Friday, while developing menus and delivering child‑friendly snacks.

The role supports training through a Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship, with generous benefits and progression opportunities in a growing nursery group.

Qualifications

• Willing to learn and complete Level 2 Production Chef Apprenticeship.
• Interest in nursery/early years settings.
• Able to work 7am–4pm, Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh, nutritious meals for children in the nursery.
• Develop and evolve menus in a cost‑effective way.
• Prepare snacks for all children (three meals a day).
• Promote healthy messages about food to families.
• Deliver friendly customer service to children and parents.
• Monitor portions and waste to protect margins.
• Ensure compliance with EH and Ofsted guidelines and keep records.
