Job summary

A multinational service provider in Carterton seeks a Kitchen Assistant for a 15-month fixed-term contract. Responsibilities include preparing, cooking, and serving meals while maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards. The ideal candidate will have a Level 2 Chef qualification and hands-on experience in a professional kitchen. Job description

Location: OX18 3LX

• 37.5 hours per week
• 15 Months Fixed-Term Contract
• Weekday Shift 0500 - 1300 & 1000 - 1800 (occasional Weekday 1700-0100) Weekends (1 per month on average) 0500 - 1800
• £12.71 per hour

What you'll do:

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and service of meals in a fast‑paced kitchen
• Maintain the highest standards of food safety and hygiene, ensuring full compliance with EHO guidelines
• Work alongside the front‑of‑house team to deliver outstanding service
• Cook and serve meals to military personnel, delivering high standards every day
• Oversee kitchen sanitation and ensure best practices are always followed
• Be part of high‑profile events and special functions, showcasing your culinary expertise
• Take part in bulk cooking, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
• Continue developing your skills and knowledge throughout your apprenticeship
