Job summary

Trescal LTD offers an Apprenticeship programme across UK sites for aspiring calibration engineers. You will be trained to calibrate and optimise measuring instrumentation, fault-find and repair equipment, following our ISO9001/ISO17025 quality system and procedures.

The four-year programme includes NVQ/BTEC Level 3 in Engineering, calibration fundamentals, in-house training across multiple disciplines and development courses, with a path to senior technical roles and management possibilities.

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 4 or higher (or Scotland National 5 in English, Maths and Science).
• PC literacy and knowledge of Microsoft software.
• Proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to attend college weekly during term time.
