Job summary

Trescal Ltd invites applications for an Apprenticeship across our UK sites to train in calibration and instrumentation across multiple disciplines. You will learn to calibrate, fault-find and repair equipment within our ISO9001 and ISO17025–audited Quality System.

The four-year programme includes NVQ Level 3 & BTEC Diploma Level 3 in Engineering with in-house training. Successful applicants will start with GCSE English and Maths, gain PC literacy and Microsoft software skills, and attend college

Qualifications

• GCSEs including English and Maths at grade 4 or higher.
• PC literacy and knowledge of Microsoft software.
• Proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to attend college weekly in term time.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and optimise a wide range of measuring instrumentation.
• Fault find and repair equipment.
• Work in accordance with our Quality System audited to ISO9001/ISO17025.
• Rotating across calibration disciplines in UKAS laboratories.
