Job summary

Trescal offers an Apprenticeship programme at our UK sites, training you to calibrate and optimise a wide range of measuring equipment. You will learn fault finding and repair techniques while working within our ISO9001 and ISO17025 audited quality systems.

The 4-year scheme includes NVQ Level 3 & BTEC Diploma Level 3 in Engineering, Calibration Fundamentals, in-house training across disciplines, and personal development courses with external providers.

Qualifications

• PC literacy and knowledge of Microsoft software.
• Proactive approach to learning and problem-solving.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate and optimise a wide range of measuring instrumentation.
• Learn to fault find and repair equipment.
• Operate in accordance with ISO9001 and ISO17025 quality systems.
• Rotate across calibration disciplines in UKAS laboratories.
