Job summary

King's College London seeks an Apprentice to join the Building Services Engineering team. The role involves assisting with planned and reactive maintenance, inspections of mechanical and electrical assets, and collaboration with technicians to ensure excellent service.

You'll attend college as required, complete mandatory safety training, and contribute to a flexible, customer-focused service. The 35-hour workweek is paired with a fixed-term contract and London weighting.

• Raise remedial work with the management team.
• Complete paperwork associated with planned maintenance promptly and to a high standard.
• Work with technicians to manage stock levels.
• Assist relevant contractors.
• Attend college as required in line with course schedule.

At King's College London, our Engineering Team plays a critical role in ensuring our facilities are safe, efficient and well maintained to ensure our vibrant community is able to learn, innovate and shape the future. We're looking for a skilled and dedicated Apprentice to join our team. About the role: Link to program: Building services engineering service and maintenance engineer / Institute for Apprenticeships and Technical Education The role is versatile, with multiple duties, responsibilities and opportunities for career development. Role to be carried out to the required standard, whilst remaining compliant and providing excellent customer service. The role will ensure completion of all mandated Health & Safety training, including eLearning modules, within required timeframes to maintain compliance with statutory and organisational standards.

• Work alongside the campus engineering teams delivering planned and reactive maintenance
