Job summary

OpenAI is seeking a Manager, Applied AI Engineering (Large Enterprise) to lead the ADE team across EMEA from London or Munich. You will own strategy, mentor a high-performing team, and align customer needs with roadmaps for safe, scalable GenAI deployments.

In this hybrid role, you will manage end-to-end implementations for strategic customers, maintain executive relationships, and drive API adoption while shaping product and engineering directions. Relocation assistance is available.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in a technical customer-facing role with C-level relationships.

Responsibilities

• Own the strategy and operating model of the Large Enterprise Applied AI team.
• Lead, build, and mentor a team of ADEs to deliver customer outcomes and API adoption.
• Serve as the technical advocate for customers and translate needs into roadmaps.
• Act as the primary technical escalation point during development and maintain executive communication.
• Champion safe and innovative application of AI across sectors.
