Job summary

loveholidays is seeking a Lead Applied AI Engineer to join the AI Centre of Excellence within the broader Business IT & AI Operations. You will shape and govern AI-enabled SaaS platforms, collaborating with engineering, security, vendors and business stakeholders to deliver impactful, reliable automation from day one.

Qualifications

• Experience building agentic AI workflows that combine models, tools and data.
• Familiarity with Google ADK or similar frameworks is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of REST APIs, webhooks and data pipelines for SaaS integrations.
• Experience with cloud environments, CI/CD, observability and secure operations.

Responsibilities

• Administer and improve SaaS platforms and AI-enabled services, including configuration and lifecycle management.
• Build and maintain AI workflows and automation pipelines connecting models, tools and data.
• Design and test agentic AI workflows using frameworks like Google ADK.
• Monitor service health, usage and cost; lead testing and incident triage to improve reliability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, security and vendors to translate needs into configurations and automations.
• Document configurations, dependencies and runbooks with secure change-management.
