Job summary

Accenture UK & Ireland is seeking an experienced AI Engineer (Agentic/Applied) to design, build, and deploy production-grade agentic AI systems across the enterprise technology stack. You will work with client teams, lead architecture sessions, and create reusable patterns that scale beyond engagements.

You will own LLM integration standards, eval harnesses, observability tooling, and cost governance across multiple concurrent systems, delivering tangible business impact.

Qualifications

• Shipping a multi-agent system in production.
• Own eval harness and production readiness.
• Experience with LLM APIs in production code.
• People leadership and mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Architect and govern production-grade agentic systems at enterprise scale.
• Define RAG pipeline standards and embedding strategies.
• Set multi-LLM integration standards across providers.
• Own LLMOps at programme scale: eval strategy and observability.
• Lead client engagements and align tech leadership with delivery teams.
• Publish reusable patterns and accelerators for scale across engagements.
• Define measurement framework for agentic system quality and business impact.
• Demonstrate strong production software engineering experience.
• Hands-on design and deployment of agentic AI solutions in production.
• Gain depth with agentic orchestration frameworks in production.
• Call LLM APIs in production code with provider abstraction and cost controls.
• Own RAG pipeline ownership: embeddings, chunking, vector databases.
