Anthropic is looking for an Applied AI Architect to lead Beneficial Deployments focused on maximizing Claude's impact in life sciences. You will serve as the primary technical advisor to flagship institutions, guiding engagements from discovery through deployment and working with engineers to deliver measurable impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a technical role with customer-facing exposure.
• Experience in life sciences, biomedical research, or scientific computing.
• Experience building trust with academic institutions, biotech, or pharma.
• Familiarity with prompt and context engineering, evaluation frameworks, agent architectures, and retrieval.
• Enjoy mentoring others and helping teams succeed.
• Comfortable wearing multiple hats and driving clarity in ambiguity.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary technical advisor to life sciences partners from discovery to deployment.
• Transform partners into AI-native organizations using Claude Code and Claude Science.
• Design and lead cohort accelerators to scale expertise across institutions.
• Identify hard deployment challenges and feed back to product, engineering, and research.
• Create technical presentations, demos, and scalable content for global use.
• Travel occasionally to partner sites for workshops and relationship building.
• Help shape team processes and culture as the group scales.
