ZEISS is seeking an Applications Development Manager to drive adoption, validation and commercialisation of diagnostic solutions across Europe. The role is home-based in the UK with extensive travel to the UK and Europe, working with laboratories, clinicians and sales teams.
You will develop diagnostic workflows, deliver training programs and provide technical expertise while collaborating with global teams to support strategic business objectives.

As part of a newly established Diagnostics customer segment team, the Applications Development Manager will play a key role in driving the adoption, validation and commercialisation of ZEISS diagnostic solutions across Europe. Working closely with customers, laboratories, clinicians, sales teams and internal stakeholders, the successful candidate will develop and validate diagnostic workflows, deliver application-focused training, provide technical expertise and support the successful deployment of innovative diagnostic solutions. A key focus of the role will be supporting the launch and growth of a new cervical cancer screening solution, helping customers realise the value of ZEISS technologies within clinical and laboratory environments. This is a highly customer-facing position with significant European travel and extensive collaboration across global teams.

Home-based within the UK with flexibility on location. Approximately 30-40% travel across the UK and Europe.
Annual performance reviews will be undertaken by the Head of Global Emerging Business and Sales Enablement, with objectives aligned to business growth, customer adoption, workflow validation and sales enablement activities.
