Job description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Applications Designer to join our team based on-site at our office in Kingswinford.

The purpose of this role is to use a combination of In-house software and Solidworks to produce high quality, accurate, 3D Stairlift models with accompanying technical drawings for Customers, Installation and Manufacture.

Key outputs and deliverables include:

• Produce 3D Models and accompanying technical drawings using a combination of In-House software and Solidworks within agreed KPI’s and in line with processes and training matrix.
• Complete revisions, reworks, checking, feasibilities and dxf’s as appropriate and within KPI’s
• Liaise and support engineers and surveyors to resolve design issues/queries
• Use D365 F&O System to update order progress through the business
• Support TPS, Field Service, Surveyors, Sales, Rework Team, Production and R&D in resolving customer queries
• Raise and respond to corrective actions that improve quality of the product, processes, software
• Assist the customer service team as appropriate with complaints
• Be involved in and instigate any process/ customer service improvements for the team
• Take, and resolve technical queries for wide range of problems with lift products (e.g. resolve abort technicalities);
• Any other duties deemed reasonable, which reasonably correspond to the general character of the role and level of responsibility.
