Job Overview
Join Birmingham City Council's dynamic Applications Support Team as an experienced Application Support Engineer. You'll provide expert support for various software applications, including the current and re-implementation of the Oracle Applications. Collaborate with functional, development, delivery, and security teams to implement and support new and existing solutions.
The ideal candidate should be user-focused, motivated, and experienced in supporting internal teams. They must collaborate effectively with stakeholders to ensure successful implementation and performance of solutions in a dynamic environment.
What we are about
As an Application Support Engineer, you will support a number of applications within Digital and Technology services, focussing on support of Oracle Cloud Fusion applications including ERP, HCM and Procurement. You will support Oracle Cloud infrastructure and PaaS services, collaborate with other teams to develop and support integrations with line of business applications, and support Oracle reimplementation program including any new projects with Oracle Cloud applications arena.
