Eurofins UK Forensic Services is seeking a full stack software engineer to join their transformative project across the Forensics divisions in the UK and Europe. Qualifications

As a developer on the team, you will work with other developers, testers and the product owner to design and implement technical solutions enabling the team to deliver features and stories for our product roadmap.This role is remote, with the flexibility to attend meetups in Birmingham and Tamworth as needed.

Qualifications

As a full stack software engineer, you’ll have experience of the full software development life cycle in an agile team including story estimation, planning and grooming a product backlog. Technically you should have practical experience building sustainable, scalable, and well-documented APIs and front-end SPA framework experience. You should also have a good working knowledge of the tools to do the job such as Azure DevOps, Visual Studio, GIT Source control and SQL Server Management Studio / Azure Data Studio.

Desirable Skills

  • Continuous Integration and Deployment using Azure DevOps
  • Experience with Hangfire, RabbitMQ, MongoDB
  • Use of Test Driven Development and writing Unit Tests


Additional Information

Due to the highly sensitive nature of the work, applicants should note that security clearance is required for this role. To gain security clearance you must have five years continuous residency in the UK. Security clearance is undertaken by a third party to police personnel vetting standards (NPPV/3 and SC), as such any criminal convictions may prevent you from gaining security clearance.
