Job summary

Spectrum IT Recruitment is seeking an Application Support Engineer to join our client in Fareham, offering hybrid working and a business-critical software support focus.

You will troubleshoot issues, work with developers, and provide excellent customer service while gathering RFCs and supporting updates. The role requires commercial experience in software/support, and exposure to C# or SQL, with opportunities to learn and grow.

Responsibilities

• Providing technical support and resolving application issues within agreed SLAs.
• Troubleshooting and managing client tickets from start to resolution.
• Working closely with stakeholders, analysts, and developers.
• Communicating clearly with clients and delivering excellent customer service.
• Gathering requirements for system changes (RFCs) and supporting their delivery.
• Testing, documenting, and supporting application updates.
• Assisting with debugging and implementing improvements (training provided).
• Contributing to team development and continuous improvement initiatives.
