Job summary

IC Resources is seeking two Senior ASIC Design Engineers to join a well-established Bristol-based silicon design company. You will work on complex ASICs across the full silicon lifecycle, collaborating with a global technology partner and leading edge programmes.

The role offers ownership of projects within a close-knit engineering team, with exposure to RTL/Verilog, SystemVerilog, UVM verification, and SoC architectures. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK.

Qualifications

• Strong RTL design experience using VHDL or Verilog.
• Experience with SystemVerilog.
• Led or owned ASIC design projects.
• Knowledge of UVM verification methodologies.
• Experience using industry-standard EDA tools.
• Understanding of SoC architectures, CPU architectures and DSP.

I am currently seeking two Senior ASIC Design Engineers to join a well-established silicon design company based in Bristol.

The role

As a Senior ASIC Design Engineer, you'll play a key role in the development of complex ASICs while enjoying exposure across the full silicon development lifecycle. Working within a collaborative, close-knit engineering team, you'll have the autonomy to take ownership of projects and contribute across multiple aspects of ASIC development.

Key requirements

• Strong RTL design experience using VHDL or Verilog
• Experience with SystemVerilog
• Previous experience leading or owning ASIC design projects
• Knowledge of UVM verification methodologies
• Experience using industry-standard EDA tools
• Good understanding of SoC architectures, CPU architecture, and Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
• Work on technically challenging ASIC developments across multiple market sectors.
