Cummins Inc. is seeking an enthusiastic Application Engineering Placement Student to join the Power Systems team in Peterborough, United Kingdom. The role is on-site and offers exposure to engineering operations within a global organization.

During the placement you will learn how a major global company operates, gaining tools and experience to become an industry expert. The position requires on-site presence and is available to students for a placement year starting Summer 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing or completed Electrical, Mechanical or Automotive Engineering degree.

Responsibilities

• Support the department on key tasks and projects independently and within teams.
• Assist in delivering technical seminars in the factory and onsite.
• Work in a team environment and learn collaborative decision-making.
• Provide technical support to Dealers & Distributors.
• Interact with Cummins factories worldwide.
• Source, interpret, and develop technical data to meet deadlines.
