Cummins is seeking an enthusiastic Applied Mechanics Placement Student to join the Power Systems Engineering team in Daventry, United Kingdom. The role requires onsite presence five days a week and supports development through hands-on instrumentation and test activities.

Responsibilities

• Define durability of components and systems used in Cummins power systems via test frames and rigs.
• Access state-of-the-art test facilities and co-create tests with mentoring from the engineering team.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to select instrumentation and demonstrate physics under test.
• Share findings with colleagues globally to strengthen communication and teamwork.
• Grow skills in engineering mechanics, digital signal processing, CAD, instrumentation, and rig development.
