An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Application Engineer to join a core Investment Systems team within a leading Financial Services organisation.
This is a hands‑on engineering role supporting a portfolio of critical front and back‑office investment applications that underpin daily business operations. You'll be responsible for maintaining highly available, resilient and secure services whilst driving continuous improvement across core investment platforms.
The role offers the opportunity to work closely with business stakeholders, technology teams and third‑party suppliers, ensuring key applications continue to meet both operational and regulatory requirements.
We're particularly interested in candidates with experience supporting applications within Wealth Management, Investment Management, Asset Management or Private Banking environments. However, strong application engineers from the wider Financial Services sector will also be considered.
As an Application Engineer, you'll take ownership of a range of business‑critical investment applications, ensuring the ongoing stability, support and enhancement of services that are fundamental to daily operations.
You'll play a key role in incident resolution, problem management, platform upgrades, service transition activities and business change initiatives, whilst helping to improve operational resilience through automation, monitoring and continuous service improvement.
This position would suit someone who enjoys solving complex technical challenges, working with large data sets and collaborating with both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
