Job summary

Harvey Nash Group is recruiting an Application Engineer in London for a hybrid role with a global investment management client. You will build and enhance digital platforms powering client onboarding and client journeys across Europe, spanning frontend, backend, cloud and AI-assisted tech.

You will own features end-to-end and collaborate with distributed teams in a highly regulated financial context. The role emphasizes Angular, Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, AWS (Aurora, S3, EC2), CI/CD and AI

Qualifications

• Strong Angular, Java & Spring Boot & Node.js experience.
• AWS knowledge - Aurora PostgreSQL, S3, EC2.
• Experience with CI/CD & automated testing.
• Hands-on use of AI/LLM tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot.
• Ability to own features end-to-end and work with distributed teams.
• Experience working with financial services, customer facing digital platforms, product environment, KYC or highly regulated firms.

Salary: £60k-£80k + 20% bonus + £10.5k guaranteed bonus + 14% pension

I'm working with a global Investment Management firm looking for an Application Engineer to join their Europe FAS Engineering team.

Purpose of the Role
