Job summary

Investment Management Firm in London is seeking an Application Engineer to join the Europe FAS Engineering team. You will build and enhance digital platforms powering client onboarding and customer journeys across Europe, using Angular, Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and AWS.

You will work across frontend, backend, cloud and AI-assisted technologies, owning features end-to-end and collaborating with distributed teams in a highly regulated financial services environment.

Qualifications

• Strong Angular, Java & Spring Boot & Node.js experience.
• AWS knowledge - Aurora PostgreSQL, S3, EC2.
• Experience with CI/CD & automated testing.
• Hands-on use of AI/LLM tools such as Claude or GitHub Copilot.
• Ability to own features end-to-end and work with distributed teams.
• Experience working with financial services, customer facing digital platforms, product environment, KYC or highly regulated firms.

Salary: £60k-£80k + 20% bonus + £10.5k guaranteed bonus + 14% pension

I'm working with a global Investment Management firm looking for an Application Engineer to join their Europe FAS Engineering team.

Purpose of the Role

You'll build and enhance digital platforms that power client onboarding and customer journeys across Europe, working across modern frontend, backend, cloud and AI-assisted technologies.
