We are assisting a well-established retailer in South Tyneside to appoint a Commercial Retail Manager. You will oversee the day-to-day running and commercial performance of the store, leading from the front with sales management and hands-on operations to deliver strong results.

The role requires 37 hours per week across six days, including Saturdays. You will drive sales, manage a motivated team and ensure outstanding customer service and store presentation.

Formación

• Previous experience in retail management or sales leadership.
• Proven ability to drive sales and achieve targets.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication.
• Good IT skills, especially Microsoft Office and Excel.
• Experience with stock management or sales systems is advantageous.

Responsabilidades

• Drive sales performance and meet KPIs and profit margins.
• Lead and develop the store team, schedule rotas.
• Deliver excellent customer service to retail and trade customers.
• Identify opportunities to attract new customers and grow revenue.
• Maintain store presentation and health and safety standards.
• Oversee inventory, stock handling and deliveries.
