The Apple Tree pub, operated under Marston's, offers a sports-led, community-focused opportunity in the Wolverhampton area. This role emphasises live sport, entertainment, and strong hospitality to grow a busy, high-energy pub.

As Pub Partner you will lead large teams, drive food and wet-led sales, and build local partnerships to position the pub at the heart of the community while benefiting from a 22% share of weekly sales (excl. VAT) and a guaranteed £25,000 retained sum annually.

PUB DESCRIPTION

We’re looking for an experienced, sports-driven Pub Partner who thrives in high-energy, wet-led environments and knows how to create standout guest experiences week in, week out. Previous food experience is essential, with experience operating branded food offers a strong advantage. You’ll be commercially focused, confident leading large teams, and passionate about using sport, atmosphere and great hospitality to drive results and make your pub the place everyone wants to be.

The Apple Tree is a large community pub situated in a prime location in Coseley, directly opposite the bustling high street and surrounded by a well-established residential community. The pub already benefits from a loyal local customer base and presents a fantastic opportunity to further strengthen its position as the social hub of the area.

The pub trades from a spacious open-plan layout incorporating both a comfortable lounge area and a traditional bar space. Guests currently enjoy a range of pub games and entertainment including pool, darts and a jukebox, creating a welcoming and lively atmosphere throughout the week.

Externally, the pub benefits from a large customer car park and a generous beer garden, offering excellent opportunities for outdoor events, community gatherings and seasonal trading.

Currently generating estimated weekly sales of approximately £4,000 with a 90/10 wet-to-dry sales mix, the pub offers significant scope for growth. Operators with experience managing a company-specification menu and growing food trade will be well positioned to maximise the pub's potential.

We're looking for a passionate and community-focused Pub Partner who understands the importance of building strong local relationships and creating a pub that sits at the heart of its community. You'll have experience driving community activity, organising events and developing a calendar of entertainment that keeps guests returning week after week.

A genuine passion for live sport, live music and events is essential. You'll be confident engaging with local groups, sports teams and organisations while creating memorable experiences that drive footfall and sales. Previous recruitment experience in a self-employed environment would also be advantageous, helping you build and develop a strong pub team capable of delivering excellent guest experiences.
