We’re looking for an ambitious and commercially minded General Manager to lead this well-presented pub in a prime Dorchester location. Situated directly opposite the town’s main hospital and close to the town centre, the site offers a fantastic opportunity for a strong operator to unlock its full potential. The pub benefits from a simple one-floor operation, a generous external trading area and six letting bedrooms, creating multiple income streams. We’re looking for a leader who can build on the pub’s strong reputation, engage with the local community and drive sustainable growth.

Currently trading at approximately £4,500 per week with a 90/10 wet-led sales mix, the biggest opportunity for growth lies in developing a successful food offer. With the completion of nearby hospital works expected to increase footfall, there is real scope to significantly grow sales and establish the pub as a destination for both food and drink. This is an excellent opportunity for a General Manager with food-led experience, strong commercial instincts and the ability to take a good business to the next level.
